The amount of harm this will do to the U.S. is incalculable: DJI's new
drones will not be available in the US as FCC ban takes effect
This is politics of the deepest bullsh*t. It is purely protectionism, there are
NO actual
security concerns that have ever been demonstrated. This is going to vastly
harm law
enforcement, search and rescue, fire protection, farmers, utilities, and others
that
depend on DJI drones, for which there are no equivalent quality products at
comparable
prices, and often at ANY prices.
And I'll note that this particular self-inflicted horror is pretty much at the
hands
of BOTH political parties, who have degraded into morons on parade when it comes
to technology.
