A petition has been started requesting that the Canadian government
dissolve the CRTC - the organisation responsible, in theory, for
ensuring fair competition in the telecommunications marketplace (similar
to the FCC in the US). The petition claims that recent judgements by the
CRTC have shown a pattern of being biased and unfair in the favour of
large corporate interests such as Bell Canada and Rogers.
