Reminds of the urgent letter that the buggy whip industry sent to Congress. It reminded them that in the days of high unemployment only a fool would give up real jobs for some vague promise of future prosperity. They were joined by all the other stakeholders -- after all, without all those horses where would you get all the fine urban manure, what would happen to the hip-boot industry?
