AT&T CEO disses Google

I might note that (as far as I know) all Android handsets associated
with AT&T to date have been locked down to prevent ordinary
subscribers from easily installing Android applications that are not
distributed through the Android Market. Normally in Android, there's
a simple checkbox in the system settings that enables non-Market
applications.

So long as AT&T continues their restrictive practice, I would never
recommend obtaining an Android device through AT&T.
