California joins suit to block AT&T merger with T-Mobile

"Just two weeks after the U.S. Justice Department sued to block the
deal in federal court, California Atty. Gen. Kamala D. Harris and six
other state attorneys general have joined the antitrust suit, saying
the combination would create a cellular behemoth that would result in
less competition in the wireless market and higher prices for
consumers. Also, they said, it could kill jobs."
