1995: PBS: "The Internet Show" Yesterday we featured a wonderful new fake "Facebook" commercial supposedly from the mid-90s. But today we share a genuine one-hour PBS program attempting to introduce viewers to the Net, at a time when "Web" and "Net" were not yet synonymous in the popular parlance. It's much fun to watch now. Did we really have to endure so much awful background music of that early synth style back then? Yeah, we did.
