"Anecdote: My wife had a similar experience: she made a calm and rational post that essentially said 'Listen, voting for Trump doesn't make you a racist, but you have to acknowledge that racists are crawling out of the woodwork to support him, and that should be at least a bit troubling.' It was, we assume, seen by someone who disagreed and rallied their friends, and boom. 24 hour ban, no appeal, no recourse.
