Following a ban on adult content, archivists raced to save
Tumblr's NSFW communities--but some say the platform tried to
        stop them.

Maybe Verizon -- aka "General Telephone" -- should have paid attention
to their disastrous expensive purchase of Yahoo (the resulting "Oath" is
already being dismantled by Verizon with a massive write-down) rather
than worry about porn on Tumblr. Of course Tumblr will now fade into
oblivion. And a two week notification for their ban? What was their big
rush? There's more to this story than we know, you can bank on it. Many
of those sites have now reportedly moved en masse to another provider,
even maintaining their old names in many cases. Meanwhile, racists,
sexists, antisemites, and other white trash Trump supporters thrive on
Verizon sites. I wonder why? Hmm.
