Hurricane Matthew made landfall late Saturday morning southeast of McClellanville, South Carolina, between Charleston and Myrtle Beach, the National Hurricane Center said.

At 11 a.m. ET, the storm's center -- with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph -- was about 55 miles south-southwest of Myrtle Beach, moving northeast at 12 mph.
