Yes, that sounds about right. It would have been more prudent to just  
hide that bucket, but you can recover from this.

Instead of worrying about your past, I suggest starting fresh with  
your cash flow this month. Figure out how much money you had left to  
spend on Sept. 1 and then use Activities > Revise Initial Rollover to  
change the date to Sept. 1 and enter the amount you had at the  
beginning of this month.

This way you can move forward quickly. It's important to have your  
historic transactions and to make sure that you are reconciled to your  
bank statements, but it's not necessary to have a historic cash flow.
