I am trying to post to the forum, and although it says that my post will appear shortly, it is not showing up after 4 hours.
I am registered. Am I doing something wrong? Here is the text of the post: I am currentlty using Mvelopes v1.4b, this is before it became a web exclusive application. I am trying to set up the buckets to match the existing balances in my Mvelopes program. Seems simple enough. I cannot seem to figure the correct way to do this. For example, I have a Gasoline envelope with $300 in it. I created a bucket and I created a deposit transaction in that bucket for $300 dollars. However, when I look at the chart for that bucket, it is showing the 'blue bar' below the $0 line and going down to -$300, at the same time saying that I have $300 left to spend. This does not seem correct. So, I am asking, what is the best way to set up Moneywell Buckets that have an existing balances, (ie. An annual insurance premium that has 7 mths saved already in an Mvelopes envelope)?
