Hi, everyone. I am getting a similar error. Here's mine: "The document "Moneywell Document" could not be saved. An error occurred while saving."
I am running 1.3.10 on OS X 10.4.11. Though I'm fairly new to the app, the only thing out of the ordinary I've done recently was install 1.4 to check it out and then deleted it. Are there files that could have been deleted that I need? I also realized that my original Moneywell document changed to "Moneywell Document (backup)" without me changing it. I may have exported before installing 1.4 just to be uber safe, but the file has never come back with the backup designation before. Any help would be appreciated. I just had my first new month to see the rollovers and all in action, so I'd love to resolve this and stick with the app. Oh, and as an aside, for all those just starting the app or evaluating it for yourself, the rollover feature is very easy. Yes, you can freak out when a new month rolls around and everything seems to have vanished. When Kevin and others talk about setting a date and rolling over one income bucket, here's the 'leap of faith' that is often left out - don't worry about which income bucket or home much. Yes, those fields are there to fill out, but for your first time using rollover, just do the first of the month for the month you should see money carrying over and everything will be fine - all income buckets and expense buckets. And yes, you only have to do it once. But it is confusing when you see fields you think you should be filling out, but no need to fill those out. Thanks, folks. Looking forward to getting involved in the community. I sent a handful of posts to the group a week or two ago, but it seems they just went straight to Kevin! So this is my official first post.
