There are tax reports that print out all these buckets and/or
transactions.

Taxes would contain payments for property taxes or other explicit tax
payments.

This means that you will have to be very aware of every transaction
and how it relates to your taxes and that means more thought during
data entry. When I'm doing my taxes, I typically want totals for
groups of tax-related transactions like charity and income. I can't
think of a case where I'd have a tax-related transaction outside of
those buckets. Even a detail-oriented finance app like Quicken tracks
tax-related transactions by category. I don't see this behavior
changing in MoneyWell. Sorry.

This too would add to the complexity of data entry with little return
on your work. At the end of the year when I do taxes, I decide what
percentage of my personal expenses are business related and put that
number on my tax form. The focus of MoneyWell is managing your bank
statements and your cash flow. We'll leave the official tax
calculations for other software tools to handle.

Thank you for your suggestions!
