Jac, Do you have any money left in your income buckets? It sounds like you have allocated all the money from your income buckets, but if not, you should also be including this in your bucket total.
Of the fours accounts, how many did you allocate the starting balances to a salary bucket? If it was all four, then you must 1) assign each transaction from each account to a bucket 2) transfers between these accounts should not be assigned to a bucket 3) when calculating your total "balance," the sum of your buckets should equal the sum of these four accounts (checking accounts will likely be positive balances, and credit card negative) If you are more specific on how you are using each account and which accounts you assigned the starting balance to a salary bucket, I'd be more than happy to explain how you should track expenses from each account, as well as what you would expect to see when trying to see if your MoneyWell document is still in balance (do buckets equal accounts?)
