Hi Mikey,

Do you have a custom date format set in your System Preferences?

Your short date format should be all numeric (like dd-MM-yy if you  
want the first format you show). If you have your short format set to  
dd-MMM-yy, it will probably cause problems.

There is no problem entering dates with standard formats that anyone  
is reporting or that I can recreate. Let me know if changing your  
local preferences back to their defaults helps.
