Actually, the default view of the graph is six months of historic information, but you can change that with the View menu. I've toyed with the idea of allowing the spending plan/cash flow to be turned off so that this is just a check register program but decided that I didn't have time to add this option for 1.4. I'm still looking at doing it when I add the ability to have multiple spending plans with date ranges on each. > I'd love to change this. For example, if I never fill up my expense > buckets, nor drain my income buckets, but I could click "Display > Year-to-date Bucket Totals" then I could just look at my home screen > to see how much I have spent and made in each bucket so far this > year. Since this is an envelope budgeting program by nature, I wanted to make sure that process and the related visuals were fleshed out first before working on the other views. So you don't do any budgeting or you're looking to just handle it manually? > Another nice feature wold be to add a very basic income statement > report: all income buckets minus all expense buckets = net flow. > Nicer still would be a report generator that brought up a list with > a check box for each bucket so you could check which buckets to > include in the report, by customer date range. > Visuals like this are planned along with more extensive reporting. It's just a matter of keeping the interface clean as I add features. I really want to avoid the "everything and the kitchen sink" look that infects so many other applications. > Hope you consider this. The program is pretty cool otherwise.
