Hi Mike,

Sorry for the delayed response, I'm catching up on support emails.

MoneyWell doesn't yet do the auto-reconcile, where it will fill in  
both start and end values for a statement and reconcile your  
transactions. That is coming very soon. MoneyWell will fill in your  
last known balance and date when you create a new statement to  
reconcile after you've done the first one though. It's goes pretty  
quickly after you fill in the date and amount.
