So I am creating a spending plan.  I type in my paycheck value into
the salary field (let's say $1000).  Then I switch the frequency to
every 2 weeks (as in:  I get paid every other week).  All of a sudden,
MW has changed my paycheck value to be $462, and sets the First field
to $500, and the second field to $500 too.  The total field reads
$1000.

I am still learning about spending plans, but so far have not found
anything that would explain what exactly the $462 value is...

Any thoughts?
