Hi Mike,

Setting a transaction to "Bucket Optional" doesn't clear the bucket  
and that is by design. This just allows you leave the bucket  
unassigned for special transactions that are outside your normal cash  
flow but won't remove a bucket that you have assigned.

Using this flag should be a rare activity if you are tracking all you  
spending. MoneyWell automatically marks starting balance and transfer  
transactions as bucket optional leaving you with very few to do  
manually.
