There are a couple of possibilities:

  1. Please try deleting your preferences (~/Library/Preferences/ 
com.NoThirst.MoneyWell.plist) and then run MoneyWell again

  2. If you are locking up trying to reconcile an account, please try  
the 1.4.3 release:

        http://nothirst.com/moneywell/dlmwbeta.html

Let me know if these two solutions don't help.
