This is a very cool feature.. but i did test the copy paste method to
test... here are my thoughts..

- the list doesnt show me what is from what account etc... since it
does not have a column for account info... :) perhaps rather than
changing the reports... we could have an optional 'show account'
column on the register - not sure which is easier... but if it was in
the paste data i could sort by that in excel.. (or it could show the
account info on the register 'only' if you have multiple accounts
selected). this would be especially helpful when i grab expense
reports for my husband - since he needs to know what credit card it
was so he can tell if he used his employer provided card (and not
request reimbursement) or our card.. for example.

- also i don't know how to select the whole year 2008 (again i cant
quite figure out that date bar at the bottom and what those symbols
all mean :) ) i tried control click of the months i want (on the
bottom) which had no result..cant seem to select multiple months.
perhaps another smart bucket (last year, last month etc)... i tried to
add one but their fixed. :) or a help file on how to use the date
bar.

(btw i checked out help 'date' and it came with a hint for cash flow
start date - kudos on the live hint of it showing me what menu to go
to ... very cool !)

- there is no subtotal on each bucket like the report...

- lastly - this is all transactions - not just tax related
transactions... since there is no smart bucket for tax related (at
least not visible). :),

i guess what i am asking for is the report to export in more than one
format - than just pdf or to the printer..

I got the data out for now and i am ok w / that - perhaps for 1.5 :)
(*wink)
