Please try deleting your preferences (~/Library/Preferences/ com.NoThirst.MoneyWell.plist) and then run MoneyWell again. This is under your user home folder. You'll get the Welcome panel again and you can start from scratch. In the future, you can always create a new document using the File > New Document command or open the Sample document using the Help menu command.
