Even if your cash flow starts in February, you still can have historic  
transactions prior to that. You may decide in 6 months to start over  
with your cash flow but you wouldn't want to delete your bank  
statement history.

If you click on a month in the graph, it will filter down your  
transactions to a specific month.

With envelope budgeting, it's also very common to be spending cash  
from last month or for the next month because life doesn't divide  
cleanly into date ranges. MoneyWell is flexible enough to flow with  
the changes though.
