just my two cents... when i receive money towards something i have to buy - i put in the same bucket from which i would have to buy that item.. so in this case i would put it towards 'computers' bucket... when i receive reimburse from my pet insurance - it goes in Pet: cat - to offset the spending i did -- that way at the end of the year i can see how much i was 'actually' out of pocket.. and the bucket does not show a large unexpected expenditure (like buying an unbudgeted new computer..)
