If you are spending January's money, then the cash left in your buckets should cover your expenses for February. That's why the graph was changed in 1.3 and 1.4 to show how much money you have allocated to the bucket as blue hash marks on the graph bars so you can tell that you may have spent more than your planned amount but it's okay because you have it covered. > Could a future release perhaps have the option of offsetting the > monthly graph by x days (like the 'allocate income' basically does)? > Or, why is this a bad idea? I always hated how Quicken said I was over my budget but really I was just spending my paycheck from the previous month.
