I think the specific question isn't clean now after all the discussion on this thread. If the problem is that a localized date format is not being respected in the date search (which looks like it is a bug), then I suggest you filter by bucket first (click the bucket) and then filter down to specific months by clicking that bar of the graph (click the background of the graph to clear the filter).
