I am having trouble reconciling a credit card. I have looked at the tutorial over and over again, but it doesn't give me a clue. First of all I imported my financial information from a Windows Quicken. Does MW reconcile all the previous information. I put in the right starting and ending dates, starting balance, ending balance. Thje transactionns are right and the statement and difference are in agreement and cleared show zero. When I check all, the difference shows the total of the statement plus all the cleared items. In the present month I end up with a difference that is aproximately double the transactions. The cleared and the transactions are equal.
I hope I don't have the same problem when it comes to my checking and savings and other credit cards. I pay off the balance on the credit cards every month to bring them to zero. I hope that will show when I reconcile. In Quicken when I reconcile it ends up asking to pay off the balance or a portion of it.
