All you have to do is put a unique portion of the memo field string as  
one of the aliases to get it to assign the correct payee. The big  
problem right now is that MoneyWell assumes the payee is still fairly  
unique so it auto memorizes that if you change the payee name by hand.  
Once you give a memorized transaction a unique alias to match and  
remove the generic one, life should be better for you.

That's not an easy action unfortunately. I'm adding an option to swap  
these two fields but I'm not sure when that will appear. It should be  
1.5 at the latest. You should also complain loudly to your financial  
institution. If they offer OFX over QIF, try that as well.
