Hi Tony,

It's recommended that you track all deposits and withdrawals with  
bucket assignments. The exception is when you are simply moving money  
between accounts with transfers. Those can exist with no bucket  
assignments.

Now for bonuses and other income, I have an "Other Income" bucket that  
I use. Most of the time, I transfer money from that to Savings or Debt  
Repayment but those transactions are tracked properly.
