Hi Troy,

You can set up as many or as few buckets as you'd like. We have a few
articles about keeping the list smaller (http://nothirst.com/
articles/). Think of buckets as a way to group transactions into focus
groups. I have a tendency to eat out so I make sure I have a Dining
bucket to track that spending. I don't break out my utilities as much
anymore but I do still have one for each. All my insurance bills are
in one bucket though (auto, home, life, heath). It's all about
improving your cash flow. If you have a problem area, break it out and
focus on improving it.

Click the camera button next to the Payee name and create a memorized
transaction. You can set up multiple aliases for each one so MoneyWell
can match them up with downloaded transactions. If you download a
transaction with the payee "DEBIT CARD 0206 HOME DEPOT #2464" you can
add a memorized transaction with the payee "Home Depot" and and alias
of "home depot" (MoneyWell will actually create that automatically)
and then tell it what bucket to use for this each time.

Let me know if you have more questions.
