Hi Shawna,

The reason they show up as gray is to make it obvious that you  
switched from looking at a current cash flow view to historic  
spending. This is the sum of all transactions in each bucket for the  
selected month so it may be exactly what you are looking to have  
MoneyWell display.

That's what the graph is designed to help with. You can get a quick  
view of what months were under or over for a specific bucket and then  
click on a month to view what transactions occurred in that month for  
that bucket. To remove this date filter, just click the graph  
background.

Hovering over a graph bar gives you the actual numbers behind the  
visual.

Yes! Just select a group of transactions, use Edit > Copy to save them  
to the clipboard and paste them into Excel (or Numbers or any app that  
takes tab-delimited data).
