Hi, You need to check that your cash flow start date is set properly. Use Edit > Change Cash Flow Start Date and set your start date to April 1, 2009. Then set your starting amount to the total of all your spending accounts and cash you have around the house and assign it to the Salary bucket. That should give you a starting point to allocating your income.
