So, I thought I had figured out how to use allocate income properly.
I get paid once a month, on the 1st -- so today, I clicked 'Allocate Income', selected '0' for next month starts, 'Second Half of Month' for Monthly Timing, and clicked Save Allocation. It didn't appear to do anything. Investigating a bit further, I see that it created a bunch of money flows, but none of them appear to be affecting the balance of any of my buckets. (April fools?) So then I decided to try creating a money flow manually. When I drag from one bucket to another, and enter an amount, it does affect the balance, but then when I look at the date entered for that flow, it shows 03/01/09 -- if I edit the date to be 04/01/09, then the balance change disappears -- as if the money flow did not exist. Looks like a weird bug to me, but maybe there's just something here I don't understand how it's supposed to work?
