Hi! I'm still in my first month using Moneywell, so I'm still trying to get a handle on it. I'm using the latest version (1.4.4), and I'm seeing a bunch of quirks, but I can't tell if it's just me or bugs in the software.
First, I have a bunch of scheduled transactions. I have my Define Future Pending Time Period set for "After 30 Days" and I have it set to Show Future Pending Transactions. My understanding is that my register should then only show the next 30 days worth of scheduled transactions. Instead, I'm still seeing everything projected out for the next year. Am I missing something? Second, even though I've put money into my Salary bucket, it's not showing up in the sidebar. As a matter of fact, NO number is showing up next to the Salary bucket, positive or negative. My Cash Flow Start Date is 4/1/09, and I just got paid yesterday. Also, when I go into Allocate Income, it's showing I have $0 to allocate. Third, one of my income buckets (I need separate buckets to keep royalty income separate from regular salary income) is apparently projecting a negative balance somewhere, but I can't figure out where or why. Again, none of my income buckets are showing any total in the sidebar at all. When I look at the transactions in that bucket, everything looks fine, with earlier deposits. I haven't deposited anything in that bucket yet this month, so this month's "balance" should be 0. But when I look at one of my Expense buckets, it's showing a negative balance from that Income bucket in the Money Flow. Further on the above, one of my Expense buckets is showing a negative allocation. I've tried changing it in Allocate Income, but it's not saving my changes and insists on reflecting a negative allocation for that bucket. This is, of course, throwing everything else off.
