Jason,

I've heard this from a couple of users on OS X Tiger but can't track
down the problem yet. Do a couple of things for me please:

  1. Please try deleting your preferences (~/Library/Preferences/
com.NoThirst.MoneyWell.plist) and then run MoneyWell again. If this
doesn't work then,

  2. It would help me if I saw the Console messages on your computer
related to MoneyWell. Here are the steps:

  1. Run Console (in your Utilities folder)
  2. Click All Messages in the left panel
  3. Filter the list to MoneyWell using the "Filter" in the upper right
  4. Select several of the most recent messages around the date you
were seeing this problem
  5. Copy them and paste them into a message to [email protected]

This is a known bug under Tiger. I'm recommending that all our
customers upgrade to Leopard. It not only improves the performance of
MoneyWell, you'll have a much nicer OS X as well. You'll also need
Leopard to run MoneyWell 1.5.
