If you are viewing part of a split transaction, you can click the
"Show Split Parent" button in the right pane to jump to the parent
transaction, but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent "Show Split
Children".

This can be frustrating when you've drilled down into a particular
view and click "Show Split Parent" and then have to figure out how to
get back to the previous view you were in.

I think it would be useful if when you click on any transaction that
is part of a split (parent or child) there is a button or keyboard
shortcut that allows you to quickly see all the related transactions.
Another way to implement it would be when you click on a row in the
Split Transaction section of the Transaction Detail pane, the
Transactions pane automatically jumps to show you that one.
Alternatively you could replace the current functionality of "Show
Split Parent" with this new behavior.

This is obviously low priority, but would be nice to have in a future
release if it's not too much trouble to implement.

For now the best solution I've found is to note the date, account, and
payee name of one of the transactions, then go to that account's
register, click "All Transactions", sort by Payee, then sort by date,
then scroll down to the date/payee of interest and all the components
of the split will usually be listed together.
