I was actually going to suggest exactly this as a way of getting "poor man's" tagging in the current version of MoneyWell. Assuming you utilize consistent keywords in all your memos, you can quickly find all transactions with a particular "tag" just by using the find feature. Depending on your needs, this may actually be sufficient. When MoneyWell eventually supports tagging, it should be straightforward to convert tags embedded in the memo field into tags using SQL, even if there is no built in way to do this. I'm actually already doing this to some extent since I like to extract per-month comments from the memo field of each bucket to include in my bucket balance emails. -Lance --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
