Ron, I move leftover money at the end of the month before my new month allocation. This is done by dragging and dropping a bucket with money onto another bucket and telling MoneyWell what amount to move. If you set your cash flow tracking to start on May 1, you should also tell MoneyWell how much money you have left to spend as of that morning (this will probably be the end of day balance for your checking account plus any cash you have in your cash account less any pending payments that haven't cleared yet). This way you can allocate money on May 1 and then again when you get paid on the 8th.
