Am I treating credit card accounts correctly? I'm the guy that asked
the Discover Card question Friday. I tried importing current months
charges, could not and then just entered them manually. Then I had a
thought (I don't get many, so bear with me), should I set up credit
card accounts just like bank a checking or cash account? I just did
this for American Express and it created an account and downloaded the
history back to 2008. This isn't actually so bad as I can quickly
delete everything except this months charges and assign them. If this
is how you do it, I assume the next download will be only those
transactions since the last download.

The new account has a negative balance of $2, 073.00 which is the
total of all charges on the account back to 2008. I guess you should
have a negative balance on credit card accounts, is it a problem for
the balance to be off? Does it reset each month or keep a running
tally?

Thanks,

Troy
