I have seen this subject presented on this forum but it has been some time and I am looking for some up-to-date information or a possible new solution. I am new to MoneyWell and spent the last couple of days entering all of my data from Jan 1. So, now I am on to the spending plan and excited to see my average spending, but, there's a problem. I have several, okay make that a lot of buckets that have 1 or 2 total transactions for the past 4 months and the historic average simply does not reflect the average.
For example; My vacation bucket shows transactions totaling $500 in January and $259 in February, $0 March and April. My average spending from January thru April is $189.75. That sounds about right, but I had to delve into my calc app. to get to that number. The spending plan actually shows the average amount as $759. Dang, this was my #1 frustration with Quicken. I know I can just grab a calculator but that defeats the purpose. This must be a difficult thing to program but if there is anything that can be done please please fix this! I would really like to see my spending average before next January :) Anyway, I do love the program and can already tell it is going to help simplify my once enjoyed task of financial management (which had just become a dread with Quicken). Hope this feedback helps! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "No Thirst Software User Forum" group.
