Hi node.js community: I have been working on the actionHero API [[ http://actionherojs.com/ ]] and [[ npm install actionhero ]] , which is an API framework which allows clients to connect either via HTTP or direct TCP. It features reusable actions which will handle client requests from both types of connections. The framework also has: - chat-room style messaging - internal tasks (single or multi node scope) - internal cache (query-able between nodes) - cluster-aware message passing - flat-file server
I created the API to use in the development of game servers (where clients of both HTTP and TCP will be playing), but I'll bet there are a number of other use cases out there. I would love to hear your feedback.
