Just installed node 6.11 on a new Windows 7 laptop. Node is fine, but npm is not.
When I issue a `npm` command (or `npm help`, or anything), I can see a node.exe *32 process is started, but there's not any output in the shell. The process keeps running, continiously taking 100% CPU (or 25% on my quad core), but apperently not actually doing anything.
