Hi All, I was thinking about having an informal Nodejs seminar/workshop in the Boston area to help people get up and running with node. I was thinking about covering the basics like setting up a simple server and showing some basic routing concepts. Then move to using a popular framework that comes with most of what you need (expressjs). Next, talk about templaiting and rendering (jade). Storage (mongodb/mongoosejs). Other popular modules like Socket.io, Now.js, etc.
I wanted to see if there is any interest in this sort of thing in the Boston area. If so I will look more into putting something together, maybe making it a weekly or monthly series covering many different topics and modules. This is something I want to do internally with my company but thought many others could benefit.
