Just realized I forgot to tell the list about this. A week or so back I opened up a "reverse" call for speakers for NodeConf, which will be this summer in Portland, OR.
The idea of a reverse call is that instead of just speakers posting what they'd like to talk about attendees get a chance to suggest what speakers and content they would like to see. NodeConf is a heavily curated conference and this gives me a much better idea of what people want to see so that I can do my best to invite speakers that fit the bill. Don't worry about the practicality of getting a speaker or covering a particular topic you'd like to see, if a topic has enough demand I'll find a way to make it happen and we cover all travel and accommodations for our speakers. Once I lock down the exact dates and when tickets will be available I'll announce them on the list. -Mikeal -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
