Hello all
im new to node , im trying to build node.js in windows
im using :
windows xp 32 bit
visual studio express 2008
Python 3.2.2
trying to compile the version from git : joyent-node-v0.7.7-49-g06ada03
and from the web site : node-v0.6.15
in both i have errors when i try to run vcbuild.bat
in : joyent-node-v0.7.7-49-g06ada03
im getting :
File "configure", line 344
print "creating ", filename
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Failed to create vc project files.
and in the web site version :
File "tools\gyp_node", line 20
print 'Error running GYP'
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Failed to create vc project files.
any one know how to fix this ? or what im doing wrong ?
