When I talk to people unfamiliar with node I'm often asked how it's different than what they're used to in Java or Ruby. I just finished writing a post that attempts to explain the basic premise behind node's design. If anyone has a chance to read it I'd really appreciate the feedback. Is there anything essential I've missed or have wrong?
