Yes, very much.

I really want to see more integration for hardware controllers like this in
the hook.io project.

Depending on the quality of your npm module, I will most likely create a
hook.io event map that will expose the events in your project to the
hook.ioevent library.

This will allow you to control home automation events from pretty much
anything ( irc, twitter, email, socket.io, rest, etc, etc ). A trivial
example would be sending a command to your house from IRC to turn on a
light, and then seeing your house's twitter account tweet that a light has
been turned on.

Looking forward to what you can come up with!
