The amount of attention and volume in the "battle" on this list is 
disproportionate to the level of actual adoption. By the measures we have, a 
proportional thread would be 80% people using and advocating the async library, 
18% advocating not using a library and about 2% using a blocking style API.

Users want to know what seems to be the thing people are using and is working 
the most among the community. 

They do not deserve to be bombarded with the personal agenda of people 
promoting their library, they just want to use what is working for most people 
and get back to building applications. YOU might like this level engagement 
around simple questions but new users don't.

We won't censor people but it would be great if people who are using this list 
as a soapbox to promote their agenda would be more considerate of the new user 
experience you're currently ruining.
