Yes, I believe You are right, it doesn't require socked support and can be 
done with standard http, I looked at code too quickly and misunderstood it.

But it seems there's nothing complicated there - on the client just 
serialize data to JSON and post it to '/eventName'  and on the server use 
trivial router (for example a hash {eventName: callback}), listen to all 
incoming requests and call matched callbacks.
