First of all, node-waf is deprecated in nex stable release (v0.8.x) and you
should use binding.gyp to build addons for latest versions of node.
If you use wscript, you may try:
conf.check_tool("compiler_cxx")
conf.check_tool("node_addon")
It is enough to build node addon.
